Maintenance And Support

We aim to be proactive in preventative maintenance, servicing your device on a periodic basis in line with the manufacturer’s specifications, when the devices email us and tell us that they’re due.
We utilise a simple email notification facility called SHARP Remote Email Diagnostic that is built in to all our SHARP devices, along with our bespoke back office system, to notify us of any and all the alerts required to effectively and proactively manage your printer fleet.

We can also offer fully refurbished second hand copiers for all needs. These devices are meticulously and fully reconditioned in our own workshop, before receiving a full quality check prior to being dispatched.

What is a Managed Print Service?
Quite simply, an elmrep MPS will reduce document production costs, reduce administrative burdens, reduce waste and reduce your energy consumption, whilst increasing fleet reliability, efficiency and security by optimising your printing environment. We like to think of our MPS as more of a business working relationship between you and us, as opposed to an actual product.
Our role as a Managed Print Services provider is not only to handle fleet management, toner supply, regular maintenance and servicing, but to collect and administer meter readings, to enable consolidated billing.
How does an MPS work?
Firstly, you won’t need to be bothered by any complicated set up issues, as we do all the tedious work.
Our service will help you recognise centres of volume production and so identify the areas of your business where costs and productivity improvements may be made to improve your asset management.
We will initially put together an accurate cost assessment on your current fleet, then work closely with you to implement an efficient fleet of printers, using our 6-step process:
1. Initial visit and fleet assessment.
2. Collect cost data.
3. Secondary fleet visit.
4. Evaluate the findings, and present you with a summary report.
5. Meet and discuss our findings.
6. Printergration – We will then seamlessly integrate your new efficient printer fleet around your existing IT network.
Moving and installation
When you purchase a device from Elmrep, we provide full moving and installation services. Our delivery team will bring your new MFP to your office location and perform set-up, installation, training, and network connection services. When we leave, your device will be fully functional and ready for you to immediately begin using it!
Special care is required when moving your Multi-Functional Printer, which is why we would advise you to call us for help. This could prevent damage to both your machine and to your office building as well as your pocket.
Emailed reporting
Utilising our Remote Email Diagnostics Software, we can manage your multi-functional printer (MFP) fleet without installing any software client (collection agent) onto your network. Your MFP will simply email us to order its toner and relay faults such as paper jams, error codes and maintenance requests. This enables us to proactively respond to any issues before they have a chance to escalate, causing downtime for you!
Our proactive system eliminates the need for you to keep track of toner stock levels, because as we all know, an occasion where someone forgets to order the printer toner can bring an office almost to a halt for days.
Our unique intelligent back office system cleverly works by automatically reading and actioning these email notifications, alerting our staff of any of the above issues, so we can work with you and deal with them quickly and effectively. This system saves you down time and administration time, whilst ensuring precise and regular billing.
Your IT team will like the fact that our monitoring is one-way only, so no “agent” is running around on their network gathering all sorts of information and sending it back. We know many IT companies who have simply turned these off or removed them altogether.
